The menu comprises of a good selection of local antipasti, various local pasta dishes, main course and, of course, tempting desserts. The wine list is focused primarily on local wines and a wide selection of Italian key names. From the local wines we highly recommend Franciacorta sparkling wine. It is the only Italian sparkling wine that can match Champagne in terms of elegance and complexity.  Match, not imitate, and this is an important distinction. Try Franciacorta Blanc de Blanc and you won’t be disappointed! The wine list also offers an interesting variety of dessert wines. Save up some space for those!

From the food menu we recommend a selection of local antipasti. This way you would try a few antipasti dishes. Our favourites are carpaccio of a local white fish served with a parmesan biscuit and small candy-like parcels of baked taleggio cheese in puff pastry. Pasta dishes offer a variety of appetising seafood combinations or seasonal vegetables or meat variations. All pasta dishes are freshly cooked and all are done in a very homey style. Our favourite is pasta with beef ragu and seasonal vegetables. Believe us, you would have space for main & dessert afterwards: pasta is not to be missed! Main course as well offers a variety of fish/seafood platters or vegetable dishes or meat platters. All fish is crisply fresh; vegetables are purchased early morning on the local market and meat is melting in your mouth. If we haven’t convinced you yet, how about a new version of tiramisu a la croccante?

Service in “Cantina de la Mirleta” deserves a separate note. We have never been spoiled and cared for so much as in this restaurant. These people are part of one big family and they all love the place where they work. Their passion and love for local food is highly contagious! And the best thing is that they are warmly welcoming you to their family and make your stay a special and a very memorable experience.
