If you were to ask me where to have an unforgettable long weekend and feel pampered from head to toes, I would respond immediately with Pennyhill Park Hotel & The Spa. This luxury 5 star country house hotel with award winning spa in the UK is situated in the beautiful surroundings in Surrey close to Ascott.  The Hotel grounds stretch across 123 acres and entice with the challenging nine holes golf course, outdoor tennis courts, outdoor heated pool and absolutely magical green surroundings. From the moment you enter the abode, you feel very spoiled. The staff  are attentive, inquire about your interests, make some suggestions and help you discover the area every step of the way. When you book you might want to look into the various packages that are offered.  I am sure that everybody would be able to find a package that best suits their interests. For example, there is package for food lovers as the Hotel features two restaurants: one of them is the renowned Latymer that has earned one Michelin star and the recently refurbished Brasserie that has a more casual style and offered dishes; however, just as mouthwatering and exploratory as its "older brother". There is also a package for spa lovers with the stay overnight in a beautiful room; breakfast included and two one hour treatments. I must admit that I usually fell victim of this package. The Spa on the grounds is voted the best spa in UK during a few years by now. Rightly so, the spa is located in a separate impressive building and offers multiple programs. The changing rooms are very spacious and luxurious and will have a fresh robe, white slippers and towels ready for you. The interior is modern, cozy and yet envelopes you with a private atmosphere. For exceptional privacy, look for a visit around mid-week. The Spa offers eight indoor and outdoor pools, including a crystal blue ballroom swimming pool complete with underwater music, bubbling hot tubs with varying jet powers and temperatures, spa pool and hydrotherapy pools. If you want to have some privacy, then ladies/men’s treatment facilities are at your disposal; they offer various steam rooms, herbal saunas; showers and restrooms. There is also an area with joint hammam and an adjacent ice cave. It is a truly invigorating experience to soak in the steam of the hammam and inhale its eucalyptus aromas; then move on next door to rub crushed ice all over your body or quickly touch the fully iced wall. Bliss to your skin and soul!  You can also enjoy the soothing warmth of the tepidarium and stimulate your blood circulation on the most advanced massage chairs. Those who prefer a more serious workout, will enjoy the fitness suite with the latest Technogym cardiovascular and resistance machines, each with its own entertainment system and Cybex free weight area. In addition, the spa has 21 treatment rooms, some of which can be booked for double occupancy. The array of offered treatments is impressive: signature face and body treatments using special products made out of Australian herbs; scrub and mud for the body; various massages for the body and the head; rejuvenation for the face and several beauty treatments. You can also indulge yourself in reiki or reflexology; or try a recently introduced chocolate therapy treatment.  And, the spa features a café called Themis that will cater to your senses resulting from the spa treatments.  The café focuses on organic food and healthy cocktails splurging with vitamins. Weather permitting, you can also relax outside and collect some blissful sun rays.

A good ending to a day at the spa or any day is a truly unique dinner experience. Latymer will no doubt sweep you off your feet with artistic menu creations and amazing combinations of flavours. The wine menu deserves special attention as it boasts best French wines as well as rare harvest years. If you chose a more relaxing evening, then Brasserie is your place. Arrive 15 minutes prior to your dinner and enjoy a nice aperitif while listening to live piano. The choice of dishes will be less sophisticated; however, the menu does not lack creativity and will always be seasonal and served in a very appealing presentation.

The hotel offers an astonishing variety of bedrooms and suites. All are individually styled and designed so that no two are the same. You can be sure to find a room accompanying your taste: some are modern and very spacious; some have a more antique look with lavish chandeliers; or flamboyant bathrooms and many other surprise features. It is surely advisable to share your preferences when booking, so you can be given the room to your likeness.

Pennyhill Park Hotel is also a known venue for weddings in UK. This is a place where the story of Cinderella comes to life; it is truly elegant and sensational! Be assured that your occasion will be pure perfection should you select this venue for your special occasion. In our ever changing and constantly demanding world this is a true jewel of tranquillity & elegant luxury.
